28 Hyatt Rd - 2007
April 30 / May 1 - The bedroom window is open and a bird has made a nest inside the house! Nest - Eggs - Bird in nest. From a description over the phone, Grace Metz thought it might be a wren. From looking at some pictures, we think this is a Carolina wren, because of the white stripe above its eyes.
May 15 (tuesday). MT returns (left May 4) - Little birds - 2 - 3 - Proud parent
May 16 (wednesday). Time lapse (5 sec intervals)

just pushing each other around
--- How these were done: a small clamp light was used for lighting, and a camcorder
on a tripod was focused on the nest. The tape recording was started and we returned
after the 1 hr tape had run out (the recording was started around 9 am). The
mother / father birds visited the nest around 17 times during the 1 hr, spending
about 10-15 sec for each visit.
May 18 (friday) -- Very cold (and rainy). Bruce figures out how to turn on heater! We needed to turn on the gas line outside the house, then find the instructions on the inside of the burner, then find and turn on the pilot
Little birds are looking more advanced. They now have white eyebrows and smoother feathers -- 5 -- 6

picture.
May 21 (Monday) - The birds woke up in the Hyatt but left sometime during
