score by Bacharach and David, performed by Herb Alpert, Dusty Springfield.
This chaotic film had 5 directors, and Peter Sellers quit in the middle of
filming. Rachael picked it out from a number of candidates because
she had seen the 2007 Casino Royale and was curious what it would
be like.
MT (before) "I've seen this and there are some very good parts, but the
story doesn't make any sense at all!"
LR and RN (to MT after) "You were right!"
RN "And no resemblance to the one I saw!"
MT "I think my favorite scenes are with Deborah Kerr ('When
a McTarry dies, the grouse come into season!') and the first time that
Peter Sellers and Ursula Andress meet ('Isn't Evelyn a girl's name?' 'No...
it's my name')."

June 21, 2008 "Little Miss Sunshine" We watched this once again, partly to
break in the new projector and compare the image with old projector. It
passed with flying colors. Dysfunctional family rallies around the young girl
who enters the "Little Miss Sunshine" beauty pageant.
RJ "This is the 3rd time I've seen it and I still like it"
TE "It wasn't quite as funny when you know what's going to happen"
MT "This time, I could see why some people might not like the movie, some
of the scenes seemed very painful"
Favorite scenes - MT: grandfather complaining about chicken for dinner. RJ:
cop misses the body, the bereavement counselor.
