June 8 - Saith - We think it's a male because it's missing an arm. Males have a special arm (hectocotyl) that breaks off during reproduction. The name "Saith" was suggested by a student in the FIR course - it means seven in welsh

August 2 - hatched!! - they look so happy
August 3 - arms - movie - something more like an adult octopus
August 7 - a sad day, all babies have croaked due to ignorance of what to feed them, RIP (no picture)

August 4 - stretching out, after long ordeal

August 9 - 10 am: Oh, no! one of Saith's eyes is falling out.
5 pm: Oh, no!! the other eye has fallen out too.
August 10 - another sad day, Saith est morte. It seems that this usually happens.

August 25 - new octopus "Tiny" - oops!
August 26 - ate a hermit crab - goes for a stroll
August 27 - the cage was cleaned last night, and found these in the morning
meal time? - the meal managed to escape (but it got eaten overnight)
August 28 - while the tank is being cleaned
time lapse: Tiny has got a hermit crab, extracts it out and chomps (10 sec time lapse) (but you can't see chomping well, because it's all underneath!)
August 29 - strikes again
August 31 - moves around on the table (seems to move backwards better than forwards!)
September 2 - fails to catch shrimp (high speed camera) - catches a crab - time lapse of eating
September 6 - new favorite hideout (thanks to Ari for this and crabs)
September 7 - stretching - eye
September 11 - New item at the Windfall Market
September 21 - in the cup, looks a bit bigger compared to Aug 28.
September 22 - leftovers - made a new home using sculpey - cozy - looking out
September 29 - what Tiny has eaten
