June 8 - Saith - We think it's a male because it's
missing an arm. Males have a special arm (hectocotyl) that breaks off during
reproduction. The name "Saith" was suggested by a student in the
FIR course - it means seven in welsh

August 9 - 10 am: Oh, no! one of Saith's eyes is falling out.
5 pm: Oh, no!! the other eye has fallen out too.
August 10 - another sad day, Saith est morte. It seems that this usually happens.
August 25 - new octopus "Tiny" - oops!
August 26 - ate a hermit crab - goes for a stroll
August 27 - the cage was cleaned last night, and found these in the morning
meal time? - the meal managed to escape (but it
got eaten overnight)
August 28 - while the tank is being cleaned

and chomps (10 sec time lapse) (but you
can't see chomping well, because it's all underneath!)
August 29 - strikes again
August 31 - moves around on the table (seems to move backwards better
than forwards!)
September 2 - fails to catch shrimp (high speed camera)
