Lost the remote. Bought universal remote from Radio Shack, manual doesn't have IR remote code, but tried 0247 (for Funai corporation) and it worked for play button! (July 26, 2008) But later we found out most of the other buttons didn't work.

Dishwasher - Frigidaire model number GLD2445RFS0. Bought at RD Crane, $418.95 on June 20, delivered finally on August 13, 2008. Installation fee of $150 to Brad Toulan (508 566 3215). Serial number is TH80950050.

This summer, the hot water suddenly became very hot, then a day or so later was cold. The overheating switch had been tripped. Roto rooter guy looked at heater (september 4) and said that there are two thermostats on this model, and they should be set at the same place, whereas we had put one thermostat to almost all the way hot without realizing the other should be changed too. He said that usually you don't have to set the thermostat very far off from top dead center. He also thought it wasn't a big deal that the heat switch had only tripped once. So he put them both at one notch above center.
